What is Chess Point?

How do I access Chess Point?
Our web application works on both desktop and mobile devices - fully responsive so you can play wherever you are. We're also launching a Telegram Mini App soon.
Can anyone play on Chess Point?
Anyone 18 years or older can participate in TON prize tournaments. I'm a beginner. Can I still compete?
Absolutely. We run tournaments for different rating ranges, all with TON prize pools. You'll compete against players at your skill level, so you can improve your game while having a genuine shot at winning prizes.
Do I need cryptocurrency to play?
Not necessarily! We offer two tournament types:
- Full Web3 Tournaments: Require TON deposits for entry, with prizes distributed via smart contract
- Light Tournaments: Free to join (just connect your wallet), with prizes funded by sponsors or the platform.
Both types may have a small CP service fee.
We also run classic tournaments without any prize pool. Anybody can participate in such tournaments 100% free.
What are ChessPoints (CP)?
CP is our in-game token that serves exclusively as a service fee for accessing tournament infrastructure and platform features. It's important to understand: the platform does not take a share of your winnings or interact with your crypto balances directly. CP is simply how you pay for platform services—think of it like an access fee, not a stake.
How is CP different from the TON prize pool?
CP is completely separate from tournament prizes:
- CP: Covers platform operational costs (servers, anti-cheat, infrastructure)
- TON: Goes 100% into the prize pool and is distributed to winners
CP is not involved in staking or prize pool logic at all. Your crypto winnings remain entirely yours.
How do I get CP?

How do tournament entry fees work?
Entry fees vary by tournament type:
Full Web3 Tournaments:
- TON Stake: Your entry into the prize pool, sent directly to the smart contract
- CP platform fee: Covers operational costs (servers, anti-cheat systems, etc.)
Light Tournaments:
- No TON deposit required
- Just connect your TON wallet to receive prizes if you win
- Prize pool funded by platform/sponsors May still require CP service fee
The TON stake always goes 100% into the prize pool. CP just keeps the platform running.

No. Chess Point is non-custodial, which means you maintain full control of your wallet and funds at all times. We never hold player assets, and every transaction requires your explicit signature.
